Elden Ring Nightreign: Characters Classes Guide

Post Image

Unlike other From Software games where you create a character from scratch, Elden Ring Nightreign offers eight unique pre-made classes called Nightfarers. All of them have a fixed appearance, with auto-developing attributes, and three unique abilities: passive, active, and ultimate.

The game starts with a tutorial playing as Wylder, after which two additional and six main classes become available. When choosing, consider your preferred style of play: close or ranged combat, supporting others, or solo mastery.

Nightfarers Class Guide

Wylder - Versatile Warrior

Wylder

Stats: 240 HP, 65 FP, 54 Stamina

Specialization: Strength and Dexterity, Greatswords

A balanced fighter who can fight alone and in a group. Their main function is to deal maximum damage in order to stagger enemies.

Sixth Sense allows you to parry a fatal hit once using auto dodging. Claw Shot is an iron grappling hook to pull in small enemies or instant traveling to big enemies. Onslaught Stake turns the hook into an iron cannon firing an iron stake dealing massive damage.

Guardian - Team Protector

Guardian

Stats: 280 HP, 55 FP, 60 Stamina

Specialization: Strength and Endurance, Halberds and Spears

A traditional tank that uses wings and shields to protect friends from harm and adverse effects.

Steel Guard raises shield blocking so you can absorb attacks that would otherwise penetrate. Whirlwind generates a vortex with wings that stuns enemies and infects with poisons. Wings of Salvation is flying with a high damage attack that returns friends and provides temporary invulnerability.

Ironeye - Sniper Assassin

Ironeye

Stats: 200 HP, 55 FP, 56 Stamina

Specialization: Dexterity and Endurance, Bows and Crossbows

A ranged combat expert who possesses infinite arrows, skilled in armor-piercing attacks and exploiting enemy weaknesses.

Eagle Eye increases the probability of finding better-quality objects. Marking is a quick stab with a dagger that creates a weak point for increased team damage. Single Shot is a piercing arrow that breaks through any armor with a shockwave.

Duchess - Master of Time and Stealth

Duchess

Stats: 220 HP, 75 FP, 54 Stamina

Specialization: Dexterity, Arcane, Intelligence, Daggers and Thrusting Swords

A subtle class with precise timing to deal maximum group damage by playing with time.

Magnificent Poise provides increased attack and dodge range through sequences of quick dashes. Restage "repeats" the last few seconds of damage done to an enemy. Finale envelops the group in an invisibility cloak for stealthy attacks or evacuation.

Raider - Berserker

Raider

Stats: 260 HP, 55 FP, 60 Stamina

Specialization: Strength and Vigor, Two-Handed Greathammers and Colossal Weapons

Trades off defense in exchange for overwhelming power, transforming incoming damage into a source of energy.

Fighter's Resolve boosts the skill from taking damage and prohibits knockdown while counterattacking. Retaliate is a stance that absorbs damage to release a powerful counterattack. Totem Stela summons an enormous tombstone from the earth with immense damage.

Revenant - Support Necromancer

Revenant

Stats: 200 HP, 80 FP, 54 Stamina

Specialization: Faith, Arcane, Mind, Sacred Seals and Staves

A faint but powerful summoner with an army of spirits under his command and reviving fallen enemies.

Necromancy revives dead foes as temporary allies. Summon Spirit revives one of three spirits: swift Page, heavy Pumpkinhead, or stationary Skeleton torso. Immortal March makes the party immune and revives dead allies.

Recluse - Elemental Master

Recluse

Stats: 200 HP, 80 FP, 54 Stamina

Specialization: Intelligence, Arcane, Mind, Staves and Sacred Seals

A committed mage specializing in team support and creating elemental residue into powerful spells.

Elemental Defense collects elemental residue from damaged enemies to restore FP, whereas Magic Cocktail consolidates three collected elements into a killing spell. Soulblood Song infuses targets with sigils that restore HP and FP for the team per attack.

Executor - Parry Master

Executor

Stats: 220 HP, 55 FP, 54 Stamina

Specialization: Dexterity and Arcane, Katanas

A unique class with perfect parrying and transformation into a beast.

Tenacity provides temporary attack bonus and stamina recovery when cured from any debuff. Cursed Sword is a special stance with improved parrying and powerful counterattack. Crucible features: Beast turns into a massive Crucible beast with new attacks and full heal.

Conclusion

Each Nightfarer offers a unique gameplay experience. Wylder and Guardian are suitable for beginners, Duchess and Executor require mastery to be played, and Revenant and Recluse must know team play. Experiment with different classes to find your path in the world of Elden Ring Nightreign.
